Join us in celebrating the remarkable individuals who have served under the Metro Missions ministry. Our Metro Missionaries Alumni list commemorates their dedication to spreading the gospel and building new Apostolic communities across North America.


  • Jack & Jo Ann Yonts - Chicago, IL

    • In 1993, at the age of 65, Jack and Jo Ann Yonts started a church out of their home in the Chicago Metro area. They planted three daughter churches, including a Spanish-speaking congregation. Two of these churches were founded by brothers who were among their first converts. Jack Yonts also founded the Metro Missions program while serving as Director of North American Missions.

  • Scott & Karla Sistrunk - Detroit, MI

    • Scott and Karla Sistrunk have been key in the planting of seven churches in the Detroit metro area over 21 years. Their efforts were part of the Metro Missions program, focusing on planting multiple churches in Detroit. In 2018, Scott Sistrunk became the General Director of North American Missions.

  • Chester & Marion Mitchell - Ashburn, VA

    • Chester Mitchell is the Founding Pastor of Capital Community Church in Ashburn, Virginia, which he and his wife founded in 1996 as Metro Missionaries. Under his leadership, the church has grown significantly, moving into a new sanctuary in 2002 and later acquiring additional land for future expansion.

  • Franklin Bounds - Salt Lake City, UT

  • Ryan Crossley - Hollywood, FL

    • Ryan and Amy Crossley started The Rock Church in Hollywood under the Metro Missions program. Their first service took place on March 6, 2005, in their living room with just their family and two guests. Since then, the church has grown significantly, now serving over 850 members and establishing multiple daughterworks in the South Florida area, including in Fort Myers and West Palm Beach.

  • Ric & Vicki Gonzalez - Chicago, IL

    • Ric Gonzalez and his wife, Vicki, are the founders of the International Christian Fellowship (ICF) in Chicago. They began their ministry in 1996, starting services in their living room and subsequently planting several churches in the Chicago metro area. Currently, ICF has established three campuses along with various preaching points and life groups throughout the region.

  • David Sanzo - Manassas, VA

  • Brent Brosam - Chicago, IL

  • David & Susan Kent - Minneapolis, MN

    • David and Susan Kent were appointed as Metro Missionaries to Minneapolis in 1999 and established the Christian Life Center in 2001, which has grown into a thriving church. Before this appointment, he founded several churches in Minnesota, including Revival Tabernacle in Bemidji from 1991 to 1998, where he was instrumental in acquiring properties and maintaining a debt-free status

  • Lane Coon - Atlanta, GA

  • Rick Perry - New Haven, CT

    • Rick Perry was a Metro Missionary to New Haven, Connecticut, where he and his wife, Stacey, founded Haven of Hope in 2009. Before establishing the church in New Haven, the Perry’s served as Global Missionaries to Botswana, contributing significantly to the growth of the United Pentecostal Church there.

  • Mark & Crystal Blackburn - Kansas City, KS

  • Chad & Tasia Williams - Portland, OR
